Characteristics of Zinc Salt Zinc Plating

Alkaline zincate zinc plating is based on zinc oxide as the main salt and sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) as the complexing agent. Its characteristics are that it has no corrosiveness to electroplating equipment, the coating crystallization is fine and bright, the cost is low, the raw material source is wide, the bath solution is stable, and it is easy to master. But an appropriate amount of additives must be added in order to achieve a crystalline and bright effect on the coating.
In recent years, zincate zinc plating has been widely used in China, mainly due to its many advantages, such as simple and stable plating solution composition, wide application range, good dispersion and coverage ability, and fine coating crystallization. As long as appropriate additives are selected, a higher bright coating can be achieved, which is easy to passivate, easy to operate, easy to maintain, low pollution, and no highly toxic cyanide. The post-plating sewage treatment is convenient and beneficial for environmental protection. It is suitable for mechanized and automated production, such as the effective galvanizing of geometrically complex hardware components such as steel pipes.
