A new additive that can make lithium battery electrolytes used in mobile phones and other products non combustible without affecting battery performance. Although lithium batteries have the advantage of high mass and energy density compared to lead-acid batteries and nickel hydrogen batteries, due to the use of flammable organic solvents in electrolytes, there are safety issues such as ignition or rupture in improving battery capacity and applications in electrically driven vehicles.
